Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Pawli stores information about you and about how you care for your pet. Here's what we store, why, who it's shared with and how you can delete it.
The short version
- We don't sell your data.
- What you log about your pet is visible only to you and the people you invite to your household.
- Your documents and your pet's name are never sent to the assistant.
- You can delete your account and your data from the app at any time.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Pawliaiapp, located in the Republic of Panama, is responsible for the data Pawli collects. You can reach us at admin@pawlyaiapp.com.
2. What we store
- Your account: your email, your name if you add it, and what's needed to sign you in securely.
- Your pet: name, species, breed, date of birth, sex, whether they're spayed or neutered, and a photo if you choose to add one.
- Care and health: routines, reminders and who checked them off; vaccines, vet visits, weight, medications, allergies, conditions and anything you observe.
- Documents: photos and files you upload, such as vaccine cards or vet reports.
- Your household: the people you invite, their role, and their name when they complete a care task.
- Conversations with Nanny: your questions and Nanny's answers, saved to your account.
- Technical data: your phone's language and time zone, so the app shows up in your language and reminds you at the right time.
- Visits to this site: we anonymously count how many people visit each page, using Vercel Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies or tell us who you are.
- Waitlist: if you leave your email on this site, we use it only to tell you when Pawli launches.
3. How we use it
- To run the service: show your pet's day, send reminders and keep their history.
- To let your household share the care.
- To answer your questions in Nanny and prepare summaries in Vet Copilot.
- To protect your account and keep the app working.
- To email you about your account or, if you joined the waitlist, about our launch.
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
4. Nanny and artificial intelligence
To answer you, Nanny uses an artificial intelligence service from Google (Gemini). We send only what your question needs. We use Gemini's paid service, under which Google doesn't use your questions or its answers to train or improve its products; it keeps them only for a limited time to detect abuse.
- What we send: your question and general details about your pet, such as species, age range, sex and whether they're spayed or neutered. For Vet Copilot, we also send the health records needed for the summary.
- What we never send: your email, your account identifiers, your pet's name or your documents.
Nanny doesn't diagnose. Its answers are general guidance and are never saved as a diagnosis in your pet's records. [Confirm with the provider whether it uses the data we send to train its models, and how long it keeps it.]
5. Who we share it with
- Your household: people you invite can see your pets, their care and their history, depending on their role.
- Providers that help us run Pawli: storage, database and sign-in emails (Supabase), artificial intelligence (Google, through Gemini), and website hosting with anonymous analytics (Vercel). They process data only to provide those services to us.
- Authorities: only when the law requires it.
6. How we protect it
- Every record is tied to your household, and the database blocks other accounts from reading it.
- Photos and documents are kept in private storage and open through temporary links.
- Your session is kept in your phone's secure storage.
- Data is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers.
Your data is stored on Supabase servers located in Oregon, United States. If you use Pawli from another country, your data is transferred to the United States so we can provide the service, and we protect it with the same measures described here.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account in the app, we delete your account, your data and your files.
- If you share a pet with other people, that pet's history stays available to them.
- If you created a household that still has other members, you'll need to remove them before deleting your account. That way, no one loses a pet's history without warning.
8. Your rights
You can view and correct your data in the app and delete your account whenever you want. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or exercise any other right your local law gives you, by writing to admin@pawlyaiapp.com. We'll reply within 10 business days, as required by Panama's Law 81 of 2019.
9. Children
Pawli isn't intended for children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
